after all the disk failures of last week, I am now the proud owner of a Buffalo LinkStation 1TB NAS box under the desk. Now backing up AGAIN

I’ve had three hard disk failures this week, one 500GB SATA from Western Digital and two old IDE’s from Fujitsu and Hitachi (OK, so these two were over 6 years old). But the 500GB is the second WD disk to fail on me in 2 years .. time to move me thinks so ordered a NAS .. lets see what comes inside that one.
