What a way to spend Dec 31st – repairing leaking roof with bitumen, felt, insulation and gyproc – hope its finished by midnight!! HNY to all

Exciting day of work followed by a quick trip to Costco this evening .. then the roof sprung a leak. Just moved the LCD TV to the front room

Lots of pressies for Xmas – and huge amounts of food and drink. Will sleep till Tuesday morning. Then rebuild the PC – again.

Check out the headroom clearance for our 8 foot tree .. I make that 2 inches! Tree was £35 .. a bargain compared to London and SE prices – the fun of living in the “grim” Norf. Sorry about the wonky curtain rail and wall-paper stripped right side wall .. we are re-decorating (again).

Well, we’ve had lots of snow for change .. and for me its great as I am not travelling much this holiday season. We had a nice fall last night (see below) and it should stay on the ground for Christmas morning. Woohoo, as they say in the ‘pool.

You should see the snow we have here tonight on the west coast .. Looks like Val D’Isere or Vale. Foto on the blog tomorrow. Cat not happy.
